Movement Director


Lootie studied at Edinburgh University and London International School of Performing Arts (LISPA). As movement director her work includes: A New World (Globe), Torn (Arcola), The Witches and Sleeping Beauty (Royal Theatre, Northampton), Romeo & Juliet (Cambridge Arts Theatre), As You Like It (Oxford Shakespeare Company), La Vita Nuova (Atlas Productions), Pied Piper (The Castle). Credits as director include: The Nightingale (Young Vic), Consequences (Almeida); and as assistant director: Parlour Song (Almeida), Amazonia (Young Vic) and The Internationalist (Gate). She was a founder member of Counterweight, a physical theatre company with whom she devised and co-directed The Gravity Project for a national tour, and she is currently director-in-residence at the Circus Space.
