Miriam trained at Central Saint Martins, HKU (Utrecht) and DAMU (Prague), after studying English Literature (Edinburgh) and Political Science (SOAS). Current projects include The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (Dukes, Lancaster) and Twelfth Night (National Theatre Discover). Recent projects include The Palace of the End (Manchester Royal Exchange Studio/ Traverse, Amnesty Freedom of Expression Award, Edinburgh 2009), The Great Game: Afghanistan (Tricycle), Sabbat (Dukes, Lancaster), Dr Korzcak’s Example (Royal Exchange Studio/ MEN Best Studio Award 2008), Tombstone Tales (Arcola) and St George and the Dragon (WAC, Lyric Hammersmith; produced by Schtanhaus), A Midsummer Nights Dream, Macbeth, Word Alive! and Playspace! (NT Discover), Measure for Measure and ID 1000 (National Youth Theatre), Carmen (Pegasus Opera, Linbury), The Voluptuous Tango (Almeida New Opera) and The Fear Brigade (Global Village). She has worked all over the world with children and artists with NGO’s and the British Council.
